Current Work Schedule Info
Work began in October for APS’s contractor, Ferreira UTEC, to access manholes at various locations along the project route to remove and replace the underground line. In some instances, this requires large equipment near the manhole site to remove existing cable, run a robotic device through the pipeline to evaluate its integrity, and install new cable.

Current Work Schedule: The current tentative schedule information is provided:

Work is currently taking place on-site at the Country Club and Lincoln substations.

Work at manhole locations is taking place to pressurize pipe and install oil. This work is expected to take 1-2 weeks to complete, and roads expected to remain open during this work, with traffic shifted away from the manholes/work area.

General Construction Information: The following general construction information is provided for residential areas in the alignment. In all cases, message boards will be placed in advance of work when there are significant restrictions or road closures. Click on the locations below to view the resident notice.

Coronado Rd, between 7th & 10th Street: Manholes are located in Coronado Road at approximately where 9th Street would intersect. Coronado will be closed to through traffic at certain times during the project. Local access will be permitted for Coronado residents and their visitors. (Spanish)

9th St, just north of Roosevelt St: Manholes are located in 9th Street, just north of Roosevelt St, where 9th St will either be closed to through traffic or limited to southbound travel only at certain times during the project. Detour signage will be in place to direct travelers around the closure area. (Spanish)

9th St, south of Fillmore St: Manholes are located in 9th Street, just south of Fillmore St, where 9th St will be limited to one direction of travel only at certain times during the project. Detour signage will be in place to direct travelers around the closure area. (Spanish)
